New Division to Develop Secure Networking Solutions

LONDON - InTechnology has established a new Network Solutions division
to develop and sell secure networking solutions to resellers across Europe.
Nortel* [NYSE/TSX: NT] will be the first vendor for the new division, adding high-speed data networking, Ethernet switches and security products to InTechnology's portfolio.

InTechnology Network Solutions will provide network infrastructure products and solutions to the reseller community in France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and the UK. Mark McHale, one of InTechnology's distribution specialists, will be the business development director for the new division.

"As one of the leading players in the network security business, Nortel will work jointly with InTechnology to increase market outreach and offer a stronger value proposition to Nortel's growing customer base," said Amanda Giddins, distribution director, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), Nortel.
"We have been working closely with InTechnology on the security side of the business and know they have an excellent track record with very good relations within the reseller community," Giddins said. "We look forward to jointly developing the secure networking business, which will allow us to offer value added support to our indirect resellers across Europe."

InTechnology has a wealth of networking experience, both through other network security vendors and through its own managed service network offerings. For the last three years, InTechnology has managed its own multigigabit national Ethernet network, LANnet, to deliver a portfolio of managed services in the UK. This portfolio demonstrates InTechnology's capability to understand, design and deliver networking solutions.

InTechnology Network Solutions will help resellers cross-sell products, rather than just provide storage and security solutions. With convergence growing in the IT sector and the industry focusing on the many data requirements this brings, end-users are increasingly looking to buy a complete solution from one reseller.

InTechnology plans to work with leading vendors in the networking industry, some of whom are already in its vendor portfolio. In addition to being the new division's first vendor, Nortel already has a security solutions distribution agreement with InTechnology.
