LONDON - 01 August 2005 - DataSynapse, Inc., the fastest-growing provider of grid-computing solutions for the virtual enterprise, today announced that its CEO, Peter Lee, has been named to the Board of Directors of the Enterprise Grid Alliance (EGA), the industry consortium focused on developing and promoting enterprise grid solutions.
A founding member of the EGA, DataSynapse helped launch the organisation in April 2004, to accelerate the deployment of grids in enterprise data centres. As a member of the Board, DataSynapse joins a team of technology leaders from EMC, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, HP, Intel, NEC, Network Appliance, Oracle and Sun Microsystems.
