Swissrisk software to support Dresdner Bank’s centralized guidance of structured client advisory services

Zurich - 21 April 2005

Dresdner Bank AG is expanding its professional investment advice and sales platform by adding modules of the Client Advisory Suite from Swissrisk.

Central to the Swissrisk solution is Assetmanager PROâ„¢, which links the in-house
recommendations on securities with each individual client portfolio. This enables the client adviser to quickly generate the optimal investment proposal for each client. The solution is being made available to all the investment advisers of Dresdner Bank.

Swissrisk offers modules of its Client Advisory Suite for private and retail banking to support a bank’s structured guidance of high-quality investment advisory. The Assetmanager PRO module automates centralized control of advisory processes.

“The Assetmanager PRO adds a key component to the Dresdner Bank IT platform for investment advice and sales support”, explained Michael Legner, Head of Portfolio Management Applications and Systems in Private Banking at Dresdner Bank. “This means we can submit optimal investment proposals, geared to market conditions, to our clients much more quickly than in the past. We will simultaneously further optimise the quality of the advisory process and its efficiency, enabling our clients and Dresdner Bank to benefit from this development.”

Peter Marshall, Swissrisk CEO says: “Swissrisk is proud of the fact that in Dresdner Bank, a bank well-known for the quality of its advice, has chosen Assetmanager PRO as a key component to support Dresdner’s centralized guidance of their structured client advisory process.”

Oliver Schedletzky, responsible for the IT project at Dresdner Bank, states that “the very modern architecture of the Swissrisk software also resulted in clear approval of this product from the technical aspect”.
