ATD executed almost four percent of all trades on Nasdaq and approximately two percent of listed trades on the New York Stock Exchange in 2003. The firm selected SunGard Trading Systems/BRASS' BNET to provide connectivity to its diverse current and future customers. "BRASS has distinguished itself as a provider of high-end desktop and delivery network solutions, which serves to complement the automated execution services provided by ATD," said Bill Yancey, president of ATD Brokerage Services, LLC. "We think the combination of our leading technologies makes for a great partnership."
ATD will be relying on the BNET dealer-to-dealer network to allow firms to easily send orders to its electronic wholesale trading desk.
"BNET is one of the premier networks for connecting market makers, and we're excited to have ATD providing further value to our clients," said James T. Leman, president of SunGard Trading Systems/BRASS.
