Patsystems launches 'Reflector'

New trading methodology released to the Patsystems community

Patsystems, London, 25 November. Patsystems, the global supplier of electronic trading technology and exchange technology, is releasing its new ‘Reflector’ trading software to its customers on 26 November 2004.

Announced on 27 October and demonstrated for the first time at the Futures and Options Expo in Chicago, Reflector is a versatile trading screen that allows you to view market depth through a dynamic price ladder. Among other features, you can simultaneously see last-traded prices and market depth; view the inside market spread; place and amend orders; enter stops; display implied prices; hold prices and hold orders; and view profit and loss.

Originally developed as part of TradeMark, Patsystems’ next generation platform, Reflector has been added to the existing J-Trader platform. This is so customers can benefit immediately from an important advance in trading technology.

Commenting on Reflector, Kevin Ashby, Patsystems’ chief executive, said:
"We are providing our customers with a far more sophisticated trading system. Moreover, given the current business climate, customers will be reassured to know that we are patenting the Reflector technology and introducing a very powerful depth of market tool. We have already had feedback from more than 200 users, and their response confirms that Reflector has significant advantages over other tools. I am therefore confident that Reflector will make a major contribution to the success and versatility of both our current and future platforms."
