Gothenburg, 2 October 2003 - Nordic Financial Systems (NFS), the provider of technical and business integration knowledge, today announced the appointment of Eva Andersson as Director, Consultants and Account Management. Eva joins NFS from ABB Treasury where she was IT Director for six years.
Andersson will be responsible for improving the delivery of services offered to NFS' customers as well as taking responsibility for Treasury Support Center (TSC) - the outsourcing function for treasury operations, providing IT management and business operations support for multinationals and their subsidiaries. TSC is used by a growing number of multinational corporations including Ericsson and Volvo, and Andersson will work with users to develop this solution further.
Magnus Lind, President & CEO, NFS, comments, "Eva has a wealth of experience that will help NFS improve the solutions and services we offer to our customers. She understands what is required of a treasurer when it comes to treasury systems' support and can offer invaluable knowledge to our existing and future client base."
Andersson comments, "Increasingly we are witnessing a change in the treasurer's role and the IT available to support it. NFS has a very experienced group of consultants working to improve the systems environments for its customers, mainly multinational corporations, and I look forward to the challenge of taking my experience and working with treasurers to develop their environments in line with the business requirements."
Prior to working with NFS, Andersson was IT Director at ABB Treasury, the leader in power and automation technologies, where among other things, she focused on the development of ABB's treasury system, Trema Finance KIT.
