- New Software Intelligently Analyses Financial Spreadsheets -

UK software company, Sheetware, has just launched a spreadsheet analyser
called XDrill. This new product enables finance professionals to analyse
their own and other people's accounts or financial models simply and
quickly, making it easier to see where a number has come from.

Iain Morrow, MD of Sheetware says ' We have developed XDrill to help
answer the question most finance professionals ask themselves when
analysing accounts and spreadsheets "where does that number come from?"
This is particularly true when you are looking at someone else's work.

'The product has already generated a lot of interest amongst the
financial industry, where more rigorous verification of accounting
figures is being called for in light of Enron and Worldcom.'

Sheetware are offering a 30 day free trail of XDrill on their website.
The company are also running a competition until the end of March 2003
to win full copies of the software; details can be found at
020 8374 6251.

The product starts at only £60 for an individual user and £199 for a
company with up to 20 employees (prices for larger organisations on
application). Charities are being offered a free product licence for
life. For more information call 020 8374 6251.
