Taylor Associates launches Financial eLearning training courses

Prominent financial training company Taylor Associates is pleased to announce that it has launched a new website to provide a range of high quality and value training products. The training courses are predominately aimed at individual investors. However, they will also appeal to smaller financial institutions and businesses, or anyone else, including journalists, PRs and students, needing more information about basic financial skills.

The new site provides access to detailed courses covering numerous financial markets, which for cost reasons have previously been out of the reach of many investors.

"The wholesale professional market is well catered for when it comes to training courses. But it is clear that smaller and individual investors have to a large extent been ignored. When courses and books do exist, they are often too expensive or too esoteric," says Derek Taylor, managing director of Taylor Associates.

"We have drawn on the extensive experience of Taylor Associates to design a range of courses that will fill this gap in the training market. At the simplest level, we have written several eBooks which can be downloaded from the website. These are intended to give a basic understanding of the markets for investors who have little or no previous knowledge," he adds.

A series of interactive CD Roms are also available. These cover topics such as an Introduction to the City, Global Financial Markets and the fundamentals of various different areas, like the Equity, Bond, Foreign Exchange and Derivative Markets. Financial eLearning also provides courses covering more specialist topics, such as Technical Analysis and Fund Management.

"Financial eLearning will appeal to a wide spectrum of investors, from novices to professional traders who might want to learn about a different market from the one they are active in. Because Taylor Associates is involved with training market professionals in a number of areas, Financial eLearning is fully up-to-date with developments in the industry. This will help us to keep Financial eLearning’s courses current. We will add further programmes as markets develop or new trends emerge," Taylor adds.

"Unfortunately, many investors have stumbled into the markets without the requisite knowledge to really manage their risk. Education is a prime need for all investors, whatever their experience. It is my belief that a better educated investor base can only be for the good of the broader markets," Taylor concludes.
