UBA has automated its billing and payment processes with FLEXCUBE @ EBPP, which will help the bank in controlling operating costs.

FLEXCUBE @ EBPP enables consumers to view and pay bills online. The consumer
can track the bill, manipulate the data for budget planning purposes and
authorize the bank to send payment to the biller. Consumers can also make
online requests for credits and to settle disputes. Customers can view their
payment history and get notifications via e-mail, SMS for bills due, payment
status of bills and other information. Billers can validate the customers
either online or through a batch. FLEXCUBE @ EBPP also generates
comprehensive MIS reports as per the billers' needs.
The module transcends the boundaries of the bank and enables bill payment
and presentment to billers from customer accounts in other banks. This
module currently supports ACH networks, ECS network for payments and
supports OFX standards.
