New Jersey–USA & Chennai-India: April 22, 2003: Accurum is a technology consulting and solutions provider to Capital Markets firms. Accurum’s Offshore Development Center in Chennai, India, has been assessed at Managed Level 4 of the SEI CMM. The assessment was led by SEI authorized Lead Assessor Anamika Chakravarty of KPMG Consulting and was based on Application Development, Integration and Migration projects of Enterprise Portals, Business Productivity Solutions and Cross-Functional Application Integration SBUs.

In the assessment report, Anamika Chakravarty commended Accurum on its key strengths - Process, Technology, People and (commitment of senior) Management.

Accurum’s commitment to the highest standard of professional quality is the hallmark of every project. Clearly defined and mature processes with high review efficiency, experienced teams of subject matter experts, excellent understanding of customer requirements, reusable components, high-quality training policies, open communication processes, knowledge sharing, patented methodologies (RPeM, RAD-RPeM – Accurum’s proven quick-execution development process) and prototyping methods put Accurum in an advantageous position. Cutting-edge technology includes Accurum’s patented Issue Manager – a Defect Tracking Tool, and BlueRoom – a real-time Project Management Portal, backed by excellent infrastructure with Video Conferencing, IPLC and PM facilities facilitating seamless integration and customer interaction. Accurum’s Management were commended for their focused approach and commitment to process and customer satisfaction as also for fostering a healthy open door policy with transparency in operations.

On the successful assessment, Ramani A V, Quality Head said, “We will continue to reach the Accurum of Quality Management Systems in Process, People and Technology. We’ve set our sights on other equally important milestones to be achieved such as SEI CMM (I) Level 5, People CMM Level 3 and the BS 7799 Security System Certifications.”

It is worth noting that Accurum’s Off-Shore Development Center at Chennai commenced operations in June 2000 and as such, achieving CMM Level 4 is indeed commendable and proof of the company’s commitment to quality standards as it continuously works towards process improvements that significantly drive delivery schedules and business performance.
