The licensing of NetIMEX is an integral part of the Credit Suisse plans to expand their e-commerce and trade finance services. NetIMEX is currently being implemented in Switzerland with full integration to the Credit Suisse back-office solution.
Mr. Daniel Wyss, Director e-business Projects at Credit Suisse, remarked, "When Credit Suisse embarked on its quest for an internet solution for its trade finance operations more than one year ago we identified three fundamental requirements. Our main priority was to provide our corporate clients a high level of functionality and service, while maintaining the Credit Suisse e-commerce look and feel. Additionally our selected e-commerce solution needed to satisfy our stringent internal technical specifications. Finally, and equally important, we needed to be convinced that the selected solution would continuously evolve with the ever-changing market. With Surecomp's NetIMEX we will reach all of our stated goals and will achieve improved service and efficiency levels in our trade finance operation. With NetIMEX our corporate clients will be able to access their trade finance business 24 hours a day whether they wish to initiate new business, inquire on existing instruments or use the NetIMEX reporting facilities that are readily available"
Matti Shem-Tov, Surecomp's President, confirmed that Credit Suisse is now the twenty-second bank to license NetIMEX. "This agreement will have far reaching consequences for Surecomp. The selection of NetIMEX by Credit Suisse establishes NetIMEX as the leading e-commerce trade finance solution, independent of the back office solution. We are naturally delighted at the Credit Suisse decision to implement NetIMEX. We look forward to being a part of the Credit Suisse trade finance strategy."
