Benoit Valluet, based on Anvers in Belgium, works in close collaboration with the country managers : Geert Deprez for Benelux, Rudi Schlett for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and Kelvin Walton for the UK & Ireland. This team will build the client base in Northern Europe and consolidate XRT’s position of market leader in supplying companies and banks with e-secured financial flow solutions.

Benoit Valluet (34) has acquired wide-ranging experience in finance and treasury through his previous positions in the UK and Belgium. Before he started at XRT, he worked from 1997 to 2000 in the treasury and accounting departments of the EVC International Co-ordination Centre in Brussels, where his duties were strongly oriented towards the deployment of leading edge financial techniques in the international environment.
One of his main projects was to select and implement a new treasury management system, which rationalised the cash management of the group, and additionally added value to the subsidiary network, through enhanced liquidity management and the hedging of interest rate and foreign exchange risks.
From 1992 till 1996, Benoit Valluet was Factoring Manager at Diversey Financial Services in Brussels.
Prior to moving to Belgium, he held financial positions in London in the management accounting department at Dowell Schlumberger UK (1991-1992) and in the treasury department of Elf Aquitaine UK (1989-1991).
Benoit Valluet graduated from the ‘Institut SupÃ©rieur de Gestion’ in Paris where he followed an international program including business studies, finance and accountancy.
Benoit Valluet is a well-known figure at the heart of the international financial community. He appears frequently as a speaker at international treasury conferences (notably, EuroFinance Conferences). Further, he is a frequent contributor to professional treasury publications.
