The Sage Accountants Club has signed up its 8000th member, representing
almost one third of the practising accountant community in the UK.

Part of the Sage Accountants Division, the Accountants Club was established
in February 1998 and is committed to helping and supporting accountants in
practice to develop their business relationship with clients.

Over 400,000 Sage customers in the UK rely on their accountants for advice
and guidance on a wide range of business-related issues as well as their traditional services. The Sage Accountants Club ensures its members are
provided with the necessary tools and support to enable them to provide
their clients with value-added services including advising on the benefits
of taking full advantage of business management software. Club members can
also take advantage of a number of benefits including software, telephone
and webs support, advance information through newsletters and newswires plus
a dedicated club account manager.

Jerry Luckett, general manager for Sage's accountants division says, "This
is a remarkable achievement and proves that the Club continues to provide
valuable levels of support and other benefits designed to help accountants
remain successful."

The 8,000th members of the Sage Accountants Club are Chris Cockroft & Co,
based in West Yorkshire.
