ROLFE & NOLAN ADDS WEIGHT TO ITS STRATEGIC BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT UNIT

London, 15 March 2001 - Rolfe & Nolan Plc, the world's leading provider of processing technology for futures and options has announced key changes in its strategic business development unit with the appointment of a new divisional head and the creation of three product managers positions within it. A marketing director position has also been created as part of the
initiative for a fresh strategic approach focusing on marketing and product management.

Geoff Maskell formerly European sales & services director has taken up the role of strategic business development director. He will be charged with the crucial task of exploring new areas of business opportunities, bringing new products to market and ensuring proficient management of the product life-cycle. He will also be responsible for group marketing.

Under Geoff, the director of marketing role is currently being held by consultant, John Sherlock, a renowned industry specialist. John is supported by Kirsty Lowe, marketing communications manager who has been with the company for 2 years.

On the product management side Gary Delany, ex-Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Doug Weaver, formerly of UBS Warburg and Richard Wheatley, formerly of ABN Amro join the company with a remit to manage the product life-cycle of the existing Rolfe & Nolan solutions and to develop new product ideas. Rolfe & Nolan is currently in the process of enhancing its systems in line with market demand and with more than 42 years experience of futures and options between them, Gary, Doug and Richard are the ideal candidates to make recommendations for improvements.

Amongst the numerous projects they will be involved in, they will have a key focus on new areas such as order routing and the growth of the application service provider (ASP) model for delivering front, back-office and risk management service offerings including Rolfe & Nolan's Global margining server.

All three will be based in the UK but dealing with products relevant to the European and global markets.
