GFT specialist Paul Burleton will be speaking at tomorrow’s MiFID II: Strategic and Business Model Implication in Central London. The event is part of a two-year series of events on MiFID II, which City & Financial have been working on with Anthony Belchambers, Chair of Saxo Markets and Chairman of the Joint Trade Association Group, who is acting as programme adviser. The series has already featured four half-day workshops and two one-day conferences. These events were well-attended and highly rated by the participants. As with the previous events, this programme is also supported by Clifford Chance, which kindly provides the venue.

Paul will be speaking at 10:15 BST, in a talk entitled Will customers be the winners in the post-MiFID II securities markets? Paul will be discussing that whilst there is some more certainty now regarding a delay to the enactment date for MiFID II, 2016 will be yet another year of intense effort and frantic planning to deal with the enormous demands of this vast regulation. Its introduction is still, without question, one of the biggest and most wide-ranging of all the regulatory changes that have taken place in recent years.

Paul will also be presenting GFT’s latest piece of thought leadership on MiFID II, ’MiFID II: How to eat the elephant’.
