Fides Treasury Services Ltd., the global leader in multi-bank connectivity and communications, today announced that during the first half of 2019 it started the implementation of 115 client projects, an increase of 30% compared to the previous year.  The 2019 figures show that Fides continues to track steady double-digit year-over-year growth.

Net-new direct customers added in 2019 include First Quantum Minerals Ltd in Canada; American Equity Investment Life Insurance Company, Moody’s Corporation and World Triathlon Corporation in the United States; Arrowmetals and Trading AG in Switzerland; and Gebauer & Griller Kabelwerke Gesmbh in Austria. Fides also continues to steadily add new joint customers with its TMS and ERP partners.

In the past year, customers including Cofco Resources SA, Millicom International Cellular S.A., Payoneer Inc., Autoneum, Holcim Group Services Ltd, The AES Corporation and NBA Properties, Inc. have all expanded their relationships with Fides. These client extensions are based on support for new projects to add banks and widen global coverage.

Fides has increased the volume of account statements it processes daily by 10.3 percent, leading to more than 60.3 million account statements processed per year from more than 103,000 accounts. The company has also increased its volume of initiated payments by 34 percent. Fides currently manages an annual payments volume of approximately $5 trillion.
The company’s strategic projects and client support have garnered multiple accolades in 2019, including awards and recognition from Global Finance, International Investor, and Global Banking and Finance Review.

In the past year, Fides has focused on product development, most recently releasing new versions of its Web solution for multi-bank aggregation, payments and messaging. The firm continues to actively hire staff across multiple disciplines and has steadily added to its client relations, product management, IT and client services teams to provide the highest level of support to its growing global client base. In late 2018, Fides also added the position of chief risk officer, bringing Jan Hugelshofer on board to lead risk management and compliance activities.

To support its increasing number of clients and projects, Fides is relocating to new office space in early September. The new headquarters features areas designed to support closer team collaborations, quiet areas and meeting rooms, and provides more contiguous space for Fides’ growing workforce.

On Sept. 6 in Zurich, Switzerland, the Fides community will come together at the 2019 Fides Community Conference for updates on the company’s business strategy, vision and roadmap for its award-winning multi-banking products and solutions for corporate treasurers along with insightful presentations from guest speakers. The full-day event is open to all members of the Fides ecosystem, and more than 150 customers and partners from around the globe are expected to attend.
