Debra Walton

Debra Walton is the Global Managing Director, Customer Propositions at Thomson Reuters. Walton has been a member of the Thomson Reuters senior management team since 2003 with roles across sales, marketing strategy and product development. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, she held senior executive roles at Cantor Fitzgerald, Nucleus Financial and Dow Jones Telerate.

Debra is well-known as a speaker and blogger—her work has appeared in publications such as The Huffington Post—with a focus on women’s issues. She offers unique strategies for handling life balance, breaking through the glass ceiling, and successful networking. Born on a farm in Australia, she uses her life lessons to show how women from even modest backgrounds can launch successful careers in any profession. Debra puts her expertise and experience to work as a board member at the Women’s Refugee Commission, a non-profit organization devoted to helping refugee women and children globally.
