Mission Statement

Sapient Global Markets is a business consulting, technology and services provider to the capital and commodity markets. For more than two decades, we have worked with market participants, intermediaries, regulators and governments to develop and implement innovative solutions that transform their business. From advising on strategic initiatives to integrating advanced technologies into trading environments, we help firms optimize how they initiate and leverage the solutions and processes that run their front, middle and back offices. Located on four continents and in key centers relevant to the global capital and commodity markets, we provide access to a network of experts through local offices around the world.

We have a fully integrated range of services that support any project across the trading and risk management lifecycle. They range from advisory, analytics and program management to operations services, technology and user experience. We advise on strategic initiatives, such as developing new clearing models. We provide program management, establishing a PMO for critical initiatives such as interpreting and adapting to new regulatory changes. We infuse User Experience (UX) into solution development to improve technology usability and user acceptance. We use a variety of quantitative and benchmarking methodologies to help firms gain a better understanding of current-state activities—an important first step in developing a roadmap for improvement. We leverage our own methodology, the Sapient Approach, to develop and implement a variety of technology solutions. And, we assess and optimize processes for more efficient operations. Following best practices, our services can be utilized individually, as needed, or together to address every stage of the project continuum. They are executed using our Global Distributed Delivery (GDD) model, giving access to local experts distributed across the globe. By understanding the business, our experts are able to deliver high-value solutions that are closely aligned with the firm’s goals.

To infuse industry knowledge and experience into our delivery capabilities, we maintain communities of experts centered on the areas of interest most important to our clients and the industry. They change based on industry events and as our client’s priorities change. Today, our key focus areas include the buy-side investment process; derivatives platforms; data management; pipeline and shipping; trade documentation; regulatory reporting; clearing and collateral; risk and control; portfolio accounting; commodity trading and risk management; and valuation and risk analytics.

In addition to our services, we develop software and managed services solutions to help our clients more effectively address business needs and meet industry requirements. From software that simplifies reporting regulatory requirements to a managed service offering for close-of-business processing, our solutions leverage technology and optimized processes to power trading organizations in a more efficient way.

Sapient Global Markets, a part of Publicis. Sapient, is a leading provider of services to today’s financial and commodity markets. We provide a full range of capabilities to help our clients grow, create robust and transparent infrastructure, manage operating costs and foster innovations.
