Benefits

The Dynamo platform automates workflows and data management and improves the productivity of fundraising, deal management, research, investor servicing, portfolio management, accounting and compliance teams worldwide.

History

Dynamo Software was founded as Netage Solutions in 1998 by Krassen Draganoff, originally to solve operational challenges he saw at a multi-billion-dollar private equity firm. As one of the first purpose-built CRM and investor communication systems in the private investment industry, the company grew rapidly. Over its 20 year tenure in the industry, and through working with some of the world’s most well-known asset managers as early clients, Dynamo has expanded its feature set to streamline research, deal management, portfolio management and internal and external reporting, including branded investor portals.
In late 2017, the Dynamo team received a majority investment from Francisco Partners, a global, technology-focused private equity firm, who now holds seats on our board of directors. With their deep expertise within the asset management and financial technology sectors, FP has enabled Dynamo to expand its leadership team and global client services capabilities while accelerating product innovation to continue driving efficiencies across the entire alternative investment industry. Also in late 2017, Dynamo acquired HoldingsInsight, a data services business that helps LPs report on underlying exposures in their portfolios.
Early in 2018, Dynamo acquired Q-Biz Solutions, developer of the PEView back-office system and provider of hybrid administration services.
As of mid-2018, Dynamo has over 500 clients across the globe that represent approximately $3 Trillion in assets under management.

Focus

Dynamo is entirely focused on the global Alternative/Private investment industry, including: endowments, foundations, pensions, sovereign wealth, OCIOs/consultants, private equity and venture capital funds, real estate investment firms, hedge funds, prime brokers, fund administrators, funds of funds, family offices, global custodians, and wealth management.

Goals

Dynamo has solved challenges for institutional investors and private asset managers for nearly 20 years and continues to pursue solutions to streamline their front-to-back office operations and investment processes. Dynamo aims to arm our clients with tools and services that automate workflows and improve their capital raising, investment research and deal management, investor relations, data and document management, accounting, reporting, and compliance efforts.
