History

Eagle was founded in 1989 as Eagle Development Group, LLC and originally provided technology consultation and system implementation services to the investment management community. In 1996, Eagle began the transition to a software provider with the launch of its flagship product, Eagle PACE (now known as Eagle Data Management). The transition to a product only organization expanded in 1999 with the launch of its investment accounting platform Eagle STAR (now known as Eagle Accounting), soon followed by the performance measurement solution, Eagle Performance. In June 2000, the company name was changed to Eagle Investment Systems LLC to reflect the shift in emphasis from consultancy services to software provision.

In early 2001, Eagle purchased ITS Associates, Inc., now Eagle ACCESS(SM). Today, Eagle ACCESS is the private cloud offered by Eagle Investment Systems. In the fall of 2001, Eagle was purchased by Mellon Financial Corporation and became a wholly owned subsidiary, which is now BNY Mellon.

Eagle has continued to expand its capabilities by opening offices in Australia, Canada, China, UAE, India, Great Britain, Poland, and Singapore. Today, Eagle’s solutions help manage more than $27 trillion in assets and are supported by a dedicated staff of more than 1000 professionals. Eagle continues to be committed to efficient and cost effective implementations, and in addition to its implementation and technical consulting services, leverages a strong network of leading alliances in the industry that continue to help cultivate its success.
