Auriga is sponsoring and speaking at this year’s BankSec 2022 conference on 4th and 5th October in Park Plaza Victoria Hotel, London. Attendees can anticipate keynote sessions delivered by high-quality speakers from leading banks, government, and law enforcement agencies, as well as solutions providers and a range of industry bodies. There will be a vendor technology exhibition area where delegates can browse the latest physical and logical security products and services, exchange ideas, and network with industry experts.

Auriga’s head of cybersecurity product engineering, Juan Ramon Aramendia, will be speaking at 2pm, 4th October, at Auriga’s sponsored session (Stream One). ‘Secure banking across multiple channels’ will discuss how the Zero Trust security model can be applied to secure ATMs, ASSTs and other self-service devices to enable next-generation branches.

Joining Auriga at the event will be its customer, 5B, the largest ATM provider in Central America, who successfully secured their fleets of ATMs from cyber-attacks using Auriga’s Lookwise Device Manager (LDM) cybersecurity solution. It made it possible for 5B to achieve 98.4% optimisation in the up time of the entire ATM network and allowed 100% of the hard drives encrypted to maintain the integrity of software and hardware.

5B’s Information Security Officer, Marco Mejia, will also deliver a session on ‘Zero Trust baselines for borderless cyber defences’ at 2.30pm, 4th October. He will be sharing how cyber defences need to adapt to a multidimensional space with new heuristic-based solutions including artificial intelligence and optimised knowledge bases to detect significant changes in technology operations.

LDM is a centralised modular platform that offers the possibility to protect and monitor critical devices and execute customised actions to react to potential threats. LDM therefore ensures a high level of security on business-critical devices such as ATMs or point-of-sale terminals.

Beyond IT security, LDM presents a wide protection model with the specific intention of providing security solutions for key devices. Nowadays, ATMs are very attractive targets for criminals, in part due to the lack of active updating policies, due to technical and economic limitations, which make these networks vulnerable.

Auriga’s experts will be available at Booth 11 to discuss their next-gen solutions and how decision makers can apply them to enhance cybersecurity practices within banks.

Join over 300 delegates representing more than 100 banks, law enforcement, industry suppliers, and analysts from almost 50 countries at BankSec 2022.
