GT Software's Dusty Rivers Achieves IBM Champion Recognition for Seventh Consecutive Year

IBM Champion Program recognizes innovative thought leaders in the IBM technical community

GT Software, the leader in revolutionizing data, processes and transactions to optimize business information across all platforms, today announced that Dusty Rivers has again been named as an IBM Champion for Systems for the seventh year.

IBM Champions are recognized as innovative thought leaders in the technology community. Individuals who receive this prestigious distinction are honored for their influence and mentorship of the IBM technical community. Current IBM Champions help to influence others in the industry by offering advice and guidance on how to best leverage IBM software, solutions, and services.

Rivers currently serves as the Director of z systems for IMS and CICS for GT Software. He brings 39 years of experience in global mainframe systems integration, where he helps clients enable mainframe data and business logic to incorporate into new technologies, such as Cloud, Business Analytics/Intelligence, Web and Cognitive Systems. Rivers is a prolific speaker at various IBM and industry events worldwide, where he educates conference attendees on how easy it is to access mainframe systems without additional coding using GT Software's patented orchestration solution, the Ivory® Suite.

Rivers stated, "I am honored to receive this award for the seventh time. I have dedicated my career to helping clients achieve success by leveraging their IMS and CICS applications to accomplish various business initiatives key to today's modern business. As an IBM Champion, I also enjoy mentoring my peers and spreading the word about IBM's technology, in addition to our GT Software solution set."

"On behalf of all of us at GT Software, we congratulate Dusty Rivers for achieving this honor for the seventh consecutive year. He is a valuable member of our team and his mainframe modernization expertise and passion for helping our clients succeed represents the core values of GT Software," stated John Pratt, President & CEO of GT Software.
