Profidata has completed the implementation of its e-AMIS wealth management system at Ferrell Asset Management Pte. Ltd. (Ferrell) as planned. As an asset manager and multi family office, Ferrell is using e-AMIS to model the business processes of its two divisions.
The key reason for the decision to purchase e-AMIS was the ability to implement regulatory and internal standards during the client onboarding process. The customer relationship management module not only enables eligibility checks to be carried out, but also the creation of risk profiles and the management of advisory protocols for establishing the appetite for risk and risk tolerance of a given client. For these reasons, e-AMIS can fulfil all of Ferrell’s ‘Know Your Customer’ requirements. Based on the risk profile, a client’s investment strategy is defined and adherence to that strategy monitored through investment compliance checks. One advantage of e-AMIS is that it allows the entire process to be automated.
In addition, Ferrell makes use of configurable asset analyses in order to produce asset allocations, performance results and portfolio exposures, along with the effects of simulations, in a clear and lucid manner across several portfolios – at any valuation key date. Moreover, it is essential that the Ferrell family office is able to present complex ownership structures in graphic form at every level, to analyse them horizontally as well as vertically, and to rebalance the investments from time to time. As well as a broad range of online views, e-AMIS includes a highly versatile reporting function, so that all investments can be accounted for according to individual criteria, both periodically and in consolidated form.
