Charles River's 2015 EMEA Client Conference Showcases Asset Management Trends and Solutions

Charles River, a front- and middle-office investment management solution provider, today announced that nearly 200 attendees representing over 45 firms from 15 countries participated in its 2015 EMEA Client Conference , held October 7th and 8th in London. Industry experts and Charles River managers discussed current trends affecting EMEA firms, and enhancements in the Charles River Investment Management Solution (Charles River IMS) that address business needs.

"Asset managers are focusing more of their budgets and time on key directives such as MiFID II and global shareholder disclosure. Our conference was a great opportunity for clients to learn how Charles River IMS delivered as a hosted service is helping firms dramatically improve data quality and day-to-day operations, access new capabilities faster, and achieve regulatory compliance at a lower more predictable cost," said Stephen Butcher, Managing Director-EMEA, Charles River.

Topics were aimed at Portfolio Managers, Traders, Compliance and Risk Managers, Business Operations staff and Data Managers. Dean Brown, Executive Director, UK Wealth and Asset Management, Ernst & Young, shared insights on how SaaS-based technology is transforming front- and middle-office operations. Sessions showcased multi-asset decision support tools, new Risk Management and Enterprise Data Management solutions, and Charles River's compliance advisory service. Attendees also provided valuable feedback on the future direction of Charles River's products and services.
