Advent Showcases Product Upgrades across its Solution Suite at AdventConnect 2014

Advent Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADVS), a leading provider of software and services for the global investment management industry, today commenced its annual AdventConnect conference taking place through September 10, 2014 at the Wynn Las Vegas. The conference hosts more than 1,000 attendees from across the investment management industry to exchange best practices, discuss new technologies, and preview the latest innovations from Advent.

AdventConnect 2014 offers three days of hands-on learning labs, product previews, expert panel discussions, networking opportunities, and lively entertainment. The event will feature a motivational presentation from legendary sports marketing pioneer, J.B. Bernstein, and offer attendees access to Advent experts as well as technology and financial services industry leaders, including CEB, Ashland Partners, Focus 1 Associates, Aite Group, and more.

Advent Direct® Solutions Rollout Underway
Since unveiling Advent Direct® one year ago, Advent has continued developing the cloud-based platform, extending the capabilities of its mission-critical products and creating innovative solutions for the investment management industry. Advent Direct® enables investment managers to access firm-wide data anytime, anywhere, so they can focus more on client service and building their business, and less on technology.

On display at the conference, Advent Direct® Investor Management provides an integrated presentation of client, portfolio, and performance data that enables client-facing teams to more effectively manage and grow relationships by extending Advent’s presence into the front office. By providing easy access to actionable information, Advent Direct® Investor Management can help clients empower their sales and service teams, boost productivity, reduce challenges between the front and back office, promote investor confidence through transparency, and enhance the client service experience.

Advent Direct® Community Growth 
Advent Direct® Community, announced at AdventConnect 2013, is the new online client experience that delivers more direct engagement with Advent and unlocks the power of Advent’s valuable ecosystem of clients, partners, employees, and experts. Advent Direct® Community has come to fruition, with more than 10,000 registered individuals, of which more than 65 percent are active users. This user-base has discussed more than 700 topics, which have been referenced more than 7,500 times.

The Idea Exchange within Advent Direct® Community is an example of how clients are empowered to influence Advent’s product roadmap. Available since launch, the Advent Portfolio Exchange® (APX) Idea Exchange resulted in the delivery of five updates for the latest version of APX (14.1), with three more in production, and four additional ideas in the pipeline. In addition to APX, Idea Exchanges have now been launched for Axys®, Geneva®, Moxy®, and Advent Rules Manager® users.

Advent Upgrades Across Product Suite
Since AdventConnect 2013, Advent has released two major upgrades across its full suite of products, touching a number of high priority areas for Advent users. The enhancements include new capabilities within Geneva® to address regulations like FATCA and AIFMD, improved CRM workflow for APX and Advent Revenue Center®, cross-platform enhancements to reporting, investor experience, rebalancing, and data mining in Black Diamond, and improved trading with real-time pricing for order creation for Moxy® and Advent Rules Manager®, among many other new capabilities.
