Revill joins Skrill from Positive Momentum, a consultancy specialising in strategy, sales, service, marketing, leadership, talent, operations and process. During his time with Positive Momentum, Steve led a number of consultancy assignments across a wide range of clients including ITN Productions, JCB Finance, Aldermore Bank, i2i Events Group and Skrill. Prior to this, he held a number of marketing leadership roles with a range of financial organisations including BDO, RBS and Barclays.

Skrill is one of Europe’s largest online payment systems and among the world’s largest independent digital wallet providers with over 36 million account holders and 150,000 merchants using its payment gateway solution. The Skrill Digital Wallet enables customers to make online payments conveniently and securely, as well as to send and receive money online cost-effectively.

At Skrill, Revill will be responsible for all marketing activities across business and consumer audiences, reporting to Skrill’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, Craig Doyle.

Revill comments, “This is an exciting time to be joining such an innovative company at the forefront of facilitating an increasingly global online economy. The foundation of Skrill’s value proposition is to enable businesses across the world to tap into an increasingly global online customer base, while helping those customers to transact with businesses that provide what they need, regardless of location.

“Skrill has the knowledge, expertise and technology to make online transactions simple and efficient, extending reach, increasing conversion rates for merchants and fuelling international growth. In an organisation such as Skrill, marketing must lead the charge in building awareness of and demand for the solutions that can revolutionise how online businesses achieve their potential.”

Craig Doyle, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Skrill, adds, “Steve brings to Skrill considerable expertise in marketing customer-centric solutions across the financial services sector, and will be pivotal in driving demand for solutions that can translate the potential of online businesses into reality. Skrill continues to meet the diverse needs of merchants and end users all over the world, facilitating progress towards its objective of being the preferred choice to pay and get paid globally. Steve will implement a strong marketing strategy that will accelerate our progress and enable us to deliver against this goal.”
