Internal appointments recognise contributions made to Baringa and its clients
Baringa Partners, the specialist management consultancy, has appointed Alex Gurr, David Harris, and Paul Wildman Partners in its Financial Services practice, and Stuart Cook in its Markets and Trading practice. The promotions are in response to the instrumental roles they have performed in delivering critical client projects and driving the business forward.
Baringa has witnessed on-going growth across its key sectors during the challenging economic period. It now stands at almost 300 employees, with a turnover approaching £60m per annum. The new Partners have all made outstanding contributions to cultural development and client delivery, both of which have driven Baringa’s consistent growth. “These appointments highlight the successes that these four individuals have delivered for clients, and the ideas they have implemented within Baringa,” said Mohamed Mansour, Managing Partner, Baringa Partners. “This also demonstrates the importance we place on the development of talent from within and the ability to integrate people at all levels to improve and expand our capabilities.”
Baringa prides itself on its focus on people and culture. The company’s approach saw Baringa named as the ‘Best Workplace in the UK’ in 2012, by the Great Place to Work® Institute for the third year running - having already been awarded Laureate status the previous year, as well as the fifth best place to work in Europe in its SME category. Baringa also received the accolade of Croner Employer of the Year during the 2012 National Business Awards in partnership with Orange.
“We finished the financial year on a real high with another exceptional performance,” continued Mansour. “The Partner appointments are testament to the hard work, expertise and commitment to client delivery within Baringa and come at a time of continued expansion for our business. Crucially, we have delivered this growth whilst retaining our original values, which combine expertise and a strong work ethic that means we deliver consistently high-quality and successful outcomes for clients.”
