Diasoft announced the successful validation of FLEXTERA solutions on the integrated IBM PureFlex system – part of the IBM PureSystems family.
IBM’s expert integrated systems allow a financial organization to significantly reduce resources for the deployment and maintenance of its multiple distributed systems. The key innovative features of the IBM PureSystems family include deep integration of applications, support of the cloud computing technology, and usage of patterns of expertise.
Currently, IBM PureSystems offerings include two platforms: IBM PureFlex System and IBM PureApplication System.
IBM® PureFlex System is a comprehensive infrastructure platform that provides an expert integrated computing system, combining servers which support IBM Power7 and Intel Xeon processors; IBM Storwize v7000 enterprise storage; networking, virtualization, and management resources into a single structure.
IBM® PureApplication is a flexible intelligent platform specially designed for simple deployment, setup, and management of applications.
The IBM PureSystems complex is an excellent choice for the deployment and setup of the solutions built on the new SOA-based FLEXTERA Platform provided by Diasoft.
The first testing of PureFlex in Russia and the CIS was performed in December 2011. Based on the results of FLEXTERA Platform testing, the companies created working packages allowing the administrator to use a single button on a server management console in order to install and configure the environment for the application server, database server and software products required for running business applications.
This, all together, allows creating an IT infrastructure with a secure computing and data storage model that can be used as a service (IaaS and/or SaaS). As a result, the customer acquires an intuitive system allowing for simple implementation and maintenance cost reduction.
Today Diasoft works on several projects for the implementation of IBM PureFlex for the Customers that wanted to acquire additional advantages through the symbiosis of the component-based PureFlex hardware platform and the modular FLEXTERA system.
