Cognito Named ‘Specialist Agency of the Year’

  • Global firm recognized by Bulldog Reporter as the top Boutique Agency of the Year (Specialty Practice)
  • Recognition comes during a year of substantial client and company growth, in addition to a number of industry awards

Cognito, a full-service public relations and marketing agency specializing in financial services, announces today that it has been selected to receive the Gold Award for Boutique Agency of the Year in the 2012 Bulldog Stars of PR Awards.

“We are pleased to receive this award from Bulldog Reporter, a respected communication trade outlet, and have our name listed alongside some of the most prominent agencies in the PR and marketing field,” states Tom Coombes, CEO and Founder of Cognito. “This award, along with several other recent distinctions, recognizes our leadership in the financial services space, stellar client and employee retention, hard work and dedication.”

Winners of the Bulldog Stars of PR Awards were chosen exclusively by journalists from hundreds of entries that highlighted the top communication agencies and professionals for various broad-ranging awards. Agencies were judged on their ability to achieve extraordinary results and influence opinion, as well as on their creativity, command of media and technology and tenacity.

Cognito’s execution in account and employee retention, pro-bono work, growth in revenue and innovation in technology were all key players in winning the gold standard. “Cognito has all the markings of an extraordinarily well-run PR firm, so it’s no surprise they captured the Gold Award for Boutique Agency of the Year,” comments Jim Sinkinson, Publisher for Bulldog Reporter. “They excel at serving clients, developing their professional team, advancing the art of public relations and achieving superior communications results. It’s easy to see why our judges found them to be best in class.”
