Trading Opportunities in the Nordic Region

TradeTech Nordic, now in its 3rd annual year, has been designed to address the Nordic specific equity trading issues of Nordic equity trading professionals. At a time where MiFID is being reviewed by MEPs amid an evolving execution landscape this conference will offer the buy side the opportunity to address these common challenges to gain a better insight into the market picture. This annual meeting will bring together over 350 Nordic equity trading professionals of whom 120 will be represented by Nordic Heads of Trading and Senior Traders from the buy side.

TradeTech Nordic is collaborating with the European Commission, Finansinspektionen, Finanstilsynet, the Federation of Finnish Financial Services and the Swedish Economic Crime authority. These institutions agree that the timing of this Nordic senior meeting will give them the opportunity to offer the Nordic equity trading industry an insightful update on MiFID II, the Dodd Frank Act, the Financial Transaction Tax and specific suspicious trading activities in the Nordic region. María Teresa Fábregas Fernández, Acting Head of Unit, DG MARKT.G.3 "Securities Markets", Financial Services Policy and Financial Markets, Internal Market and Services DG, European Commission will update the Nordic equity trading industry on the latest MiFID II developments.
