Avaloq introduces MIS Add-On Module for improved decision making

Management Information System (MIS) Module further extends the Avaloq Banking System's ability to support strategic and operational decision making.

The Avaloq Group, the reference for integrated and comprehensive banking software solutions, is enhancing the MIS functionality of its Avaloq Banking System. The MIS Add-On Module provides unparalleled control and management functions for banks with quick and intuitive access to a consistent, reliable and up-to-date data cockpit. This new Add-On Module comes as a turnkey solution; enabling quick implementation within a few months.

“In today’s very competitive and highly regulated markets, banks are confronted with an increasing number of decision making dilemmas with consequences for profitability, risks and compliance”, said Avaloq’s Chief Technology Officer Klaus Rausch. “The MIS Add-On Module provides decision-making support to the different levels of bank management. There is just one pool of data – a single-point-of-truth: consistent, reliable, transparent and easily visualised.”

Avaloq provides this enhanced MIS functionality in close cooperation with its partner company zeb/ Avaloq benefits from the profound business expertise and MIS-know-how of zeb/. “Through this cooperation the Avaloq Banking System will be providing market proven MIS solutions and integrated management reporting at the push of a button”, said Jürgen Hofner, Managing Partner of zeb/ The Add-On Module is available with Avaloq's latest Release 3.2 and is fully integrated into the Avaloq SmartClient.

“The Avaloq MIS Add-On Module provides banks' decision-makers with quick and easy access to the relevant aggregated data”, explains CTO Klaus Rausch. “It visualises key figures that are regularly required (such as Assets under Management, Net New Money, Net Interest Margin, Revenues, Contribution Margins, Standard Costs and so on) and ensures their consistency and transparency. For multi-entity banking groups the MIS Module aggregates these figures from all individual group entities.”
