Surecomp Wins Financial-i Leaders in Innovation Award for Third Consecutive Year

Surecomp, a leading provider of global trade solutions for the financial services community, announced today that it has won Financial-i magazine’s annual Leaders in Innovation Award in the Trade Finance Software Solution category. This marks the third consecutive year that Surecomp has received this honor.

Financial-i’s Leaders in Innovation Award identifies global financial hardware/software vendors and transaction banks that have excelled in the last 12 months in providing innovative answers to common industry problems. According to Financial-i, a leading London-based magazine for the wholesale financial services industry, winning companies must supply creative and easy–to-use solutions to their customers.

“One of the cornerstones of our philosophy is to consistently deliver innovative solutions to our clients. In this light, it is a tremendous honor to receive the Financial-i Leaders in Innovation Award for the third year running,” remarked Joel Koschitzky, Surecomp Chairman. “Surecomp’s continued recognition as the leader in global trade finance solutions reflects our commitment to cultivating dynamic relationships with clients – relationships that help us identify their evolving business needs. This allows us to provide relevant solutions that help our clients save time, improve performance and increase revenues.”

Financial-i grants awards based upon independent research together with input from an advisory panel of expert analysts, consultants and market practitioners. The panel considers a range of product criteria, including ease of use, interoperability, cost, depth of functionality, time to market, and ease of integration with other applications.

“Our awards recognize those companies demonstrating an ongoing commitment and investment in innovation that positively impacts end users,” said Financial-i editor Anita Hawser. “We are looking for business solutions that lead the way in terms of helping customers easily solve everyday business issues.”

Members of this year’s awards panel include Nancy Atkinson and Enrico Camerinelli, Aite Group; Steve Craggs, Lustratus Research; Neil Katkov, Celent; John Gubert, independent consultant; Peyman Mestchian, Chartis Research; Gareth Lodge, ex-TowerGroup; and Walter Kitchenman, consultant, Banking & Research.

Full coverage of the award winners is featured in the Q4.2010 edition of Financial-i.
