Former McKinsey Director of Learning to head up 7city's US expansion
7city Learning, a global financial services training company, announced today the hire of Ken Johnson as General Manager for North America. Mr. Johnson joins 7city from McKinsey & Company and will be focused on strategic business development in the region.

As General Manager, Mr. Johnson is responsible for business development, sales and marketing. Part of Mr. Johnson's vision for 2010 will be to further develop client relationships and to closely align 7city's education and training services with the needs of the evolving financial services industry.
Prior to joining 7city, Mr. Johnson was the Director of Learning in the Global Marketing & Sales Practice at McKinsey & Company. While there, he launched and developed a new learning organization within the global consulting firm, where he designed and managed a curriculum to help consultants deliver high impact solutions to address their client needs.
Prior to that, Mr. Johnson was Director of Executive Programs at Wharton Executive Education, part of the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Johnson's experience in education and strategic business development includes senior management roles at Learning Designs, Ltd. and Meta Software Corporation. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Harvard University.
