Roland Schilling joins Logicscope’s Business Development team

Logicscope, the market leading provider of post-trade connectivity between trading venues and their end user clients, is pleased to announce the appointment of industry veteran, Roland Schilling, to the position of Business Development Executive.

Roland brings considerable market knowledge and expertise to this important role, having spent some 15 years as an FX spot trader for a number of banks in UK and Europe, including Bank of New York, Credit Suisse, American Express and LTT Bank, Liechtenstein. Additionally, he has extensive and relevant experience in specialist software and data sales, holding positions in Bloomberg and Netsys.

Roland reports to John Barber, Logicscope’s Chief Executive. In this role he is focused on expanding the footprint of the TradeSTP™ platform which links all major e-trading venues (banks, brokers and multi-bank platforms) with their end user clients, globally, for guaranteed, real-time delivery of post-trade transaction messages. Logicscope was voted by its clients as the Best Post Trade Platform in the recent Profit and Loss Digital Markets Awards.

Commenting on this appointment, John Barber said: “Roland’s previous experience as a trader and in software sales - and the fact he speaks four languages - will be invaluable to the company as we crystallise our ambitious plans for growth in 2008 and beyond. We expect Roland’s industry experience and our market-leading software solutions to be a winning combination as we expand our distribution network and messaging capabilities to new clients and markets, globally”.

Logicscope’s TradeSTP suite of products connects the world’s leading e-trading banks, brokers and platforms with their clients, globally. Today, TradeSTP technology connects over 40 trading venues with some 400 institutions, delivering real-time post-trade messages seamlessly into more than 70 vendor applications.
