Kawasaki Expands Implementation of Bottomline Solution for Electronic Invoice Search and Retrieval

Bottomline Technologies (NASDAQ: EPAY), a leading provider of collaborative payment, invoice and document automation solutions, today announced that Kawasaki Motors Europe N.V. has expanded its use of Bottomline’s document process automation solution, adding new capabilities which will enable its 2,000 European-based dealers to access vehicle invoices online.

“Since 2002, we’ve been leveraging Bottomline’s solution to generate invoices in multiple languages for our entire European operation,” said Brian Haselgrove, Senior Manager, I.S. Department, Kawasaki Motors Europe N.V. “In expanding the implementation to include electronic document archiving, we’ll be able to enhance the level of customer service we provide by giving our dealer network self-service capabilities for accessing and viewing invoices electronically.”

Bottomline’s award-winning document process automation solution allows organizations to streamline business processes that rely heavily on paper-based documents. By automating the composition, routing, delivery and storage of transactional documents, users can operate more efficiently and cost-effectively. Integrating with industry-leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, Bottomline’s solution allows customers to deliver electronic documents across multiple communication channels.

“Kawasaki’s approach to transactional document automation in Europe is an excellent example of the scalability of our solutions and how organizations can use these capabilities to interact with their customers and strategic business partners more effectively,” said Chris Peck, Europe Group Sales Director, Bottomline Technologies. “We are delighted that Kawasaki has decided to expand its use of our platform and look forward to working closely with their team on another successful initiative.”
