ACI Worldwide to Expand Mobile Banking Solution

ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW), a leading international provider of software for electronic payment systems, today announced that it will offer enhanced mobile banking capabilities to its online banking customers. The mobile banking solution integrates downloadable application software with ACI Worldwide’s industry-leading online banking solution, ACI Enterprise Banker™. ACI’s business and consumer online banking customers will be able to use their cell phones, wireless handheld devices, or other handset devices to view information and perform online functions. Banks will be able to offer mobile access as an alternate channel while leveraging investment in Enterprise Banker data, entitlements and authentication.

“We are pleased to offer this latest technical innovation to our online banking customers,” said Ralph Dangelmaier, president of the Americas and Global Wholesale Banking at ACI Worldwide. “We will now offer a rich and flexible user interface that allows our financial institutions to customize the look and feel of their offering and maintain consistency with their online banking product.”

ACI’s mobile banking solution will provide a direct link between the user’s handheld device, its mobile communication carrier and the Enterprise Banker platform. Users will be able to display real-time balance and transaction data and transfer funds, plus gain access to additional applications for alerts of time-critical transactions and notification and release of transactions awaiting approval. Future mobile banking initiatives will include bill pay, wire and ACH approval, and mobile remittance to allow users to transfer funds globally in a variety of currencies via their handset.
