Duck Creek Delivers Enhanced EXAMPLE Platform With Version 2.1

New Release Includes SOA Policy Processing, New User Administration Utility, And New Online Customer Solution Center

Duck Creek Technologies, Inc., a provider of software and services enabling the insurance industry to design, develop, and deliver insurance products faster than ever, today announced the immediate availability of an enhanced version of its EXAMPLE Platform®, Version 2.1, designed to support faster speed-to-market implementations. In addition, the company unveiled a new, online Customer Solutions Center portal that serves as a one-stop destination for all product documentation and customer support information needs.

“This product release demonstrates our commitment to continually improve our products and services so that our customers can design, develop, and deliver their insurance products faster than ever,” said CEO Doug Roller.

The new EXAMPLE Platform 2.1 features:

· A complete re-architecture of the EXAMPLE TransACT™ component, which provides and supports all policy processing functions through server requests. This service oriented architecture (SOA) allows carriers to adopt robust out-of-the box processes and quickly implement custom policy processing scenarios though configuration and rules created with EXAMPLE Author®. The result is enhanced support for policy administration transaction processing that simplifies and extends the way business rules are applied to policy changes.

· The new EXAMPLE User Admin™, an easy-to-use interface allowing virtually unlimited flexibility to configure multiple levels of system access for carrier-agency-consumer and product underwriter-multi-tiered producer relationships. This provides a way for carriers to custom-manage any kind of distribution model with any type of partner and buyer down to the consumer level.

The new Duck Creek Solution Center portal is a single source for product documentation, release notes, FAQs, and white papers, etc. for all EXAMPLE Platform product release versions and Commercial Lines templates. The center’s customer-friendly design includes an e-Mail link to submit questions about product documentation and submit suggestions for documentation enhancements.
