A report entitled "Evaluating the Vendors of AML Solutions 2006" published August 2006 by Celent, a Boston-based research and consulting firm, focused on the application of information technology in the global financial services industry. In the report, Accuity's Screening Applications were recognized as one of the most prevalent solutions among banks. The report states, "In the U.S., Accuity’s watchlist filtering solutions are so pervasive they are the de facto standard."
“Accuity, a pioneer in sanctions screening, offers a straightforward, scalable and effective solution to help financial institutions of all sizes meet today's rigorous AML and counter terrorist funding compliance requirements,” said Neil Katkov, group manager of Asia research at Celent.
Accuity’s Screening Applications, part of the company’s Compliance Suite, consist of a collection of look-up and batch processing tools that can be integrated with a customer’s in-house systems or accessed online via an ASP model.
“We are very pleased with this citation,” said David Leverenz, director of product management and development for Accuity. “Our filters were developed to assist a wide range of business types and sizes with their interdiction screening processes for customer information files and transactions. The recognition conferred upon Accuity in this report confirms that these tools are doing exactly what they were built to do and the market has taken notice of our efforts.”
