Paris. January 31, 2004 – Cartesis today unveiled its 2005 strategy, with an emphasis on product development and international growth. Delivering on his promises, CEO Didier Benchimol has made strategic investments to reach the goal of becoming the leading global business performance management (BPM) software vendor within the next two years.

"We are taking the next step in transforming Cartesis into the leading global BPM software vendor, by making strategic management hires and significant investments in product development," said Cartesis CEO Didier Benchimol. "Additionally, we are reinforcing our go-to-market strategy by leveraging Cartesis’ partnership program to scale our global software business and expand our international operations. At the same time we will continue to develop the services organization and will be launching new technical support and consulting offerings. Finally the Cartesis sales force will also double this year giving us twice as many representatives out in the marketplace supporting these initiatives."

This strategy is designed to continue Cartesis’ commitment to delivering best-of-breed technology offerings to the Fortune 1000 and providing its existing customers with trusted solutions that help managers make sound business decisions.

"Another important initiative underway at Cartesis is our innovative product roadmap that includes the development of a platform for the next generation of Cartesis’ BPM solutions by the middle of this year," continues Mr. Benchimol. "With this combination of management experience, financial resources and technology excellence, I am confident that we will continue to achieve our strategic business goals in 2005 and beyond."
