Software Tool Essential for Fixed Annuity Sales

Torrid Technologies Releases Latest Version of Retirement Planning Software

Atlanta, GA (August 16th, 2004) --Torrid Technologies, Inc. has released version 8 of its Retirement Savings Planner 2004 – Professional Edition software. The program focuses on quick, simple and visual retirement savings analyses. Financial advisors, brokers, agents, and planners use the software as a visual sales tool to educate clients about their retirement situation, build trust with new clients and make it easier to win their business.

Advisors are now using the software to visually show potential clients why a Fixed Annuity product could help their retirement picture.

Wallace Smith, an independent financial advisor in Littleton, Colorado says, "I had been looking for a way to illustrate how long one challenging client's money would last under several scenarios. They had been kicking the tires on some fixed annuity products for longer than six months, but could not thoroughly grasp the concept of how the adjustments to their portfolio would help them. Well, a picture is worth a lot. Graphically showing them their annual needs and how long their money would last under different scenarios allowed me to remove all reservations and move their money."

The Retirement Savings Planner 2004 software can be used to facilitate sales of numerous financial products including Long Term Care insurance, life insurance, wealth management services, and IRA rollovers. Wallace also says that "Torrid's Retirement Planner is an excellent tool for advisors at any level. It provides support for experienced advisors who desire illustrations to drive home a specific point. And it can also provide the actual structure for a plan where the less experienced advisor desires a 'skeleton plan' to flesh out. Torrid's Retirement Planner is one of the best independent software values available to financial professionals."

Torrid's PC-based Retirement Savings Planner 2004 is also available to consumers as the "Personal Edition" and has been seen in Business Week, Barron's, Money, and Smart Money. The "Professional Edition" is used by financial advisors, brokers, agents, planners, benefits consultants, CPAs, attorneys, and other professionals working with clients on their retirement savings plans.
