HERNDON, Va., April 7, 2004 - Mantas Inc., the leading provider of behavior detection technology and compliance solutions for the financial services and telecommunications industries, has named Suzanne Sisolak vice president of product management, anti-money laundering solutions.

In this newly created position, Sisolak reports to Bill Clark, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, and is responsible for running Mantas’ industry-leading anti-money laundering business, including profit & loss, product management and product marketing. Sisolak adds key expertise to the Mantas team, having established product marketing and management roles in her previous positions.

Based in New York, Sisolak joins Mantas from SunGard Data Systems Inc. where she served as vice president of product management for its SunGard eProcess Intelligence business unit. Most recently, she led product management for ePI’s exception processing and enterprise report management solutions.

Realizing that financial institutions cannot achieve straight through processing without automated exception processing, SunGard ePI, under Sisolak's direction, pioneered the concept of marrying reconciliation with knowledge-based investigations to accomplish straight-through exception processing. The STeP concept is now widely accepted by the industry.

"When it comes to industry thought leadership and a proven track record bringing product innovations to financial services markets, Suzanne is one of the best and brightest and we are thrilled to have her join our team," said Bill Clark, Mantas. "At Mantas, our most valuable assets are our employees, and in order to maintain our market leadership we have to hire the best people in the business."

"Mantas has the technological sophistication of an established leader with the energy and focus usually seen in start-ups," said Sisolak. "AML and compliance are extremely important global issues and I’m very excited to join Mantas’ mission to end financial crime."

Sisolak joined SunGard ePI in 2000 with the acquisition of Microbank Software, where she spent nine years, reaching the level of vice president. She held a variety of professional services and marketing positions post-acquisition before leading ePI product management. Before Microbank Software, Sisolak served in the operations management training program at JP Morgan. She has a B.S. in psychology from Cornell University.
