Eurobase Banking Solutions develops Web trading module for its Siena treasury management system

Eurobase Banking Solutions, a division of the Eurobase International Group, has developed a Web trading module for its Siena treasury management system. The module adds real-time Internet based trading functionality using the existing and proven Siena treasury management application.

The Web Business Server uses standard Siena software to handle security, communication and web-specific data management functionality. Without careful design in this area, the network would be affected by the number of Web users - with network traffic growing exponentially, response times are often degraded and trader performance adversely affected.

Siena has been designed in such a way that the load balancing software used by Web Servers can initiate additional Siena sessions, thus ensuring Siena does not impose capacity constraints on the number of concurrent Web users.
