Secure Enterprise Access Pioneer Taps Technology Industry Veteran To Head Executive Team

LONDON, 21 October 2002 - Aspelle, a provider of secure enterprise access solutions, today announced that Mark Turner has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer. Drawing on over 20 years of experience with leading technology companies, Turner will play a key role in driving the overall strategic direction of Aspelle, and expanding the company's presence in the secure enterprise access market on a global level.

"In the past year, Aspelle has achieved numerous critical milestones, including the launch of its flagship product, Aspelle Everywhere, and a substantial number of high-profile customer wins," commented Turner. "These successes clearly demonstrate that Aspelle has already begun to establish a very strong position in the market, and I look forward to guiding the company while we bring secure client-less access capabilities to companies throughout the world."

Turner was most recently at Commerce One, a globally recognized provider of enterprise software for B2B E-Commerce, where he headed up the company's European, Middle Eastern and African sales operations. Turner also served as Managing Director for Sybase UK, and has held senior-level positions at Software AG and Oasis Group. He holds an Honors Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Surrey University and an MBA from Cranfield, the leading business school in the United Kingdom.

"Mark has an exceptional track record in helping global technology companies aggressively build market share," added Simon Johnson, Vice President of Technology and Co-founder of Aspelle. "We are very proud that an executive of his calibre is joining our team and firmly believe he will be instrumental in our continued success."
