New York, February 22, 2002 – RTTS, a leader in IT application and architecture testing since 1996, announced today that it will be delivering expert-level test automation training in the Greater Boston area starting in March 2002. RTTS’ TeamTest Expert-Level Automation (TELA) course, which focuses on leveraging the underlying SQA Basic language, is being presented at a state-of-the-art training facility in Boston’s historic Back Bay district.
"The course provides intermediate to advanced users of Rational Software’s TeamTest suite with the opportunity to advance their skills through a formal training program based on years of successful implementations using the TeamTest suite," said Bill Hayduk, Director of Professional Services for RTTS. "TELA equips students with the skills needed to build a more robust, sophisticated, maintainable, and modular automated suite, leading to a greater ROI for QA groups."
RTTS’ TELA course combines lecture, workbook exercises and labs to focus on coding aspects that address issues encountered during automated testing. Select topics include the SQA Basic scripting language, script debugging, object scripting, external file manipulation, dynamic verification points, database access and SQL, COM programming, Win32 API calls, web testing strategies, and programming best practices.
The first three-day course is scheduled for March 18-20, 2002 at the Thomson Learning Center, 745 Boylston Street - across from the Prudential Center complex. Additional classes, already slated for May and July 2002, will be added to fit the needs of the QA community or by arrangement.
