CMG Helps Get the Ball Rolling on Fast Track

CMG, the global Information & Communications Technology services group, is the major sponsor of this month’s World Roller Hockey Championships which takes place from 11th-16th December, at Buckmore Park in Kent. CMG’s logo will also appear on the shirts of the England team, which is expected to play in the finals of the event on Saturday 16th December, 7.30pm. Coverage of the event will be on the Sky Sports TV channel and CMG has also taken up an opportunity to advertise during the commercial breaks.

CMG has also provided computer equipment to help the organisers run an efficient championship, including up to the minute results on the internet, for fans who can not make it to the matches. The fast and highly skilled sport relies on companies like CMG providing such financial support to host events, as it is currently under-funded.

Adrian Smith, managing director, from CMG, said:
“Roller hockey reflects the traits that CMG looks for in our staff as it is played by people with great tenacity and team spirit. And, as an employer CMG is pleased to hear from anyone who feels that they can add value to a company that is prepared to invest in its people and get careers moving along the fast track. We are thrilled to support both the event and the England team. We wish them well in their bid for glory. ”
