Saxo Payment takes accolade for best service organisation supporting the payments industry

London - 6 October 2017

Saxo Payments Banking Circle was crowned Best Service Organisation supporting the Payments Industry at the Emerging Payments Awards.

The Emerging Payments Awards set out to put the spotlight on the best programmes and innovations in the global payment’s industry.

Saxo Payments was a finalist in three categories in this year’s Awards.  “With a number of significant names in the FinTech sector having signed up to the Banking Circle since it launched, there is no like-for-like competition to the Saxo Payments Banking Circle making it one of our biggest achievements” comments Anders la Cour.

The Banking Circle is our web-based banking platform which is shaking up the current landscape for businesses trading on a global scale.  Crucially, Banking Circle members can make and receive cross border transfers in seconds, rather than days, without the need for establishing multiple banking relationships.

“These prestigious awards are a great honour and it is also a testament to the hard work and commitment of the Saxo Payments team.  All our nominations and award wins recognise Saxo Payments’ position as a leading innovator in the payments sector.

In 2013 Saxo Bank formed a new entity, Saxo Payments A/S, with the purpose of using Saxo Bank’s core capabilities within the non-cash payments market. Saxo Payments A/S is a specialist in forex and payments.

Registered as a payment institution in the European Union, Saxo Payments specialises in providing global payment account transactions and foreign exchange services to payment providers, including acquirers, payment service providers, FX brokers, money transfer businesses, e-wallets, and alternative payment providers.
