BELLIN on Course for Further Internationalisation

Ettenheim, Germany - 26 October 2017

New Strategic Decision-makers: Axel Goedecke and Dr. Wolfgang Kalthoff

BELLIN, global leader in providing web-based treasury software and services for multinational corporations, banks and the financial sector, is further pursuing growth and internationalization and welcomes two new executives to help drive these efforts.

Axel Goedecke joined the team in September with a mandate to further strengthen and expand BELLIN’s global network of partners. With a background in banking and many years’ experience in international consulting firms in the treasury sector, he can tap a vast network. Axel Goedecke will focus on the entire financial sector value chain from treasury interfaces to processes and even banking. “BELLIN partner management represents a huge opportunity both for existing and for new partners, and of course for BELLIN itself,” he comments. “The expertise of our local partners and their cultural proximity to their markets, combined with BELLIN solutions, generate tailor-made products to meet requirements worldwide, for example mobile payment solutions in South Africa.” Axel Goedecke has been busy building on existing structures to be able to deliver the first significant results as early as the next business year.

Next to enhanced partner management, BELLIN has also introduced changes to their organizational setup with view to technology and product development. In October, Dr. Wolfgang Kalthoff took up his new position as Chief Technical Officer in the development department and is now in charge of the BELLIN software offering, the technical setup and strategy. With a Ph.D. in Physics and an executive MBA, as well as a background as an entrepreneur, he brings sound expert experience in treasury to the table. For many years, he has been building and leading teams across continents. This tremendous experience will allow him to shape BELLIN’s technical focus and lead the way into the future. Dr. Wolfgang Kalthoff’s main focus has been on product architecture, agile methodologies, information security, SaaS operations and support. Kalthoff: “I’m excited to have this opportunity to create and help shape something new. We build technology that has been changing the world of treasury. I look forward to being a part of the next successful BELLIN chapter.”

BELLIN was founded by Martin Bellin in Ettenheim, Germany, in 1998. The company has been growing by around 20% each year ever since. Currently, more than 400 groups with over 50,000 users in nearly all countries worldwide have opted for BELLIN. “Many know us mainly as a reliable and capable treasury management system provider. But our offering now spans the entire financial sector. The many benefits our corporate clients have known for years have increasingly become important for banks as well, as Fintech companies such as BELLIN have brought fundamental changes to their line of business,” Martin Bellin explains.
