SuperDerivatives, the market data and derivatives technology company, last night won two of the most prestigious accolades at the Inside Market Data Awards 2012, with founder and CEO David Gershon also being inducted into the exclusive IMD Hall of Fame.
The Inside Market Data Awards recognise industry excellence with market data, reference data and data management, and winners are voted for by the magazine’s global readership.
This year, SuperDerivatives was voted as the ‘Best Data Provider for Derivatives’, beating off competition from Bloomberg, Thompson Reuters and Markit to win the honour. This marks the third time that SuperDerivatives has won the award. The company was also handed the ‘Best New Data Product’ title, marking the first in a series of exciting new data developments SuperDerivatives has planned for later in the year.
David Gershon, who founded SuperDerivatives, also joined the elite group of individuals to be inducted into the IMD Hall of Fame, and paid tribute to the company’s employees and customers for over ten years of success.
David Gershon comments, “For over a decade, SuperDerivatives has strived to drive innovation, excellence and consistently raise standards for the derivatives industry, and these awards are a reflection of the efforts of our employees, our customers and partners, who have all helped SuperDerivatives become a leader in market data innovation, pricing and risk management.”
