Interactive Data's Al Turello Named One of the "Rising Stars of Mutual Funds" by Institutional Investor News

Honored for Contributions to Advancement of Evaluations Process for Mutual Fund Industry.
2011 – Interactive Data Corporation, a leading provider of financial market data, analytics and related solutions, today announced that Al Turello, director of Evaluated Services Operations, has been named by Institutional Investor News as one of the 2011 “Rising Stars of Mutual Funds.”
He is among a select group of 17 talented professionals to be named to this prestigious listing. He was recently honored at Fund Action and Fund Directions’ 18th Annual Mutual Fund Industry Awards in New York.
Mr. Turello has worked in Interactive Data’s Evaluated Services group for more than seven years and currently oversees a team of professionals that support the evaluations process for municipal bonds, corporate bonds, structured/pass-through securities and OTC derivatives.
He has led the creation of the Company’s global evaluated pricing challenge portal, which is designed to provide audit trails and compliance reports for a firm’s pricing challenge process. The portal can provide clients with additional transparency to the overall challenge process. Mr. Turello was also instrumental in the development and management of Interactive Data’s interest rate swap valuation service and Fair Value Information Service.
Mr. Turello has hosted educational webcasts and presentations for hundreds of Interactive Data’s clients from the mutual fund industry. He has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from St. John’s University.
