Financial Objects, a leading provider of software solutions for banking, wealth management and energy, today announced the appointment of operational risk specialist Arif Shah as a senior business consultant in the Operational Risk division. Shah has a strong background in global and investment banking and comes direct from Barclays where he held the position of Operational Risk manager. He will bring first hand experience to the role to deliver beneficial solutions to Financial Objects' clients.

Shah has previously also held positions at Bright Trading, Gartmore Investment Management, Citigroup and Deutsche Bank. As well as working in an advisory capacity for critical op risk projects in various countries, Shah also worked as an operational risk analyst for Citigroup in London and as a US Equities dealer at Bright Trading in Las Vegas.

"I'm looking forward to adding my hands-on experience as an op risk professional to Financial Objects. My aim will be to provide practical insight and ensure we translate the business needs of our clients into effective and easy to use solutions that bring results." said Shah.
